Japanese Knotweed, or it's scientific name, Fallopia Japanica, is mostly native to East Asia like Japan, Korea, and China. It can be found in Europe, and in the United States of America or in someplace in Australia. If you're like me, you are probably wondering what is the Japanese Knotweed? Japanese Knotweed is a large, perennial herbaceous plant that has been important to the Asian culture for centuries. It has been used for its medicinal, culinary, and ceremonial purposes. If you are not careful, it will grow out of control. It has been known to spread until it takes over crops and vegetation. There have been billions of dollars already been spent trying to control this problem. I read somewhere that it even took over a house and the owners had to sell it for less than it was worth.
